Visiting Foodhallen
Fourth day~
Lunch
Boiled a pack of pork and chive frozen dumplings. On sale it was about €3 a pack. Taste was just… okay…

On the way out I saw the dorm cat! Its name is Simba~ so adorable~ ❤
Heard from my Dutch friend that Dutch people always call orange cats Simba, because they look like the lion Simba XD

Dinner
For dinner we were planning to check out Amsterdam’s food court, Foodhallen. Google reviews looked pretty good.

There are tons of stalls inside: crepes, sushi, Vietnamese spring rolls, ramen, burgers, burritos, etc.

I ordered Bitterballen from De Ballen Bar. It is a traditional Dutch fried meatball. 4 for €4.25.

The sauce taste a bit weird and there is mustard inside. Don’t really enjoy it personally :P

The meatballs were beef. Inside they were soft and a bit loose, so at first bite I thought they were undercooked (but that’s actually how those meatballs are). The filling had some spices (couldn’t tell exactly which) and I didn’t find them especially tasty.
I also ordered a burger from The Butcher. The patty was grilled over charcoal. It was fine, a little bland. Price was about €13.

Stroll after dinner
Saw some nice buildings on the way back.

Also saw a super cute cat in a residential area!!! It came up and rubbed both our legs!!! Loved it!!!!

Duck with dark eye circles next to the canal XD

And there were people kayaking in the canal.
