Flying Over

Singapore –> Amsterdam

Flying with KLM (Royal Dutch Airlines).
I originally wanted to pick Qatar or Emirates — comfy and cheap. But when I was booking, Israel and Iran were causing trouble again… Singapore Airlines even cancelled flights to Dubai… so I went with the direct flight after all.
The flight time is great: it leaves Singapore at midnight and lands in the Netherlands 13 hours later in the morning (so I could sleep the whole way).
It sounded lovely in my head, but the plane isn’t that comfortable and I still couldn’t fall asleep, qwq
That’s life for a broke student…

Boarding

KLM’s signature color is blue~ I only learned from the description that it comes from Delft pottery produced in the Netherlands. But it kind of looks like Chinese blue-and-white porcelain…

I looked it up and it really is modeled on traditional Chinese porcelain…

Airplane meal

Dinner

For the first meal I could choose between fried rice + satay chicken or beef-and-tomato pasta. I’ll definitely go with the first one hehes.
The fried rice tasted okay — it even had tiny dried shrimp. But the portion was way too small QAQ.
The side was sweet-and-sour shredded radish mixed with rice vermicelli (?), kind of strange.
Dessert was a blueberry jam cake, a bit too sweet qwq

Breakfast

The second airplane meal was breakfast — there were no options this time. It was mini pancakes + a classic roll + fruit + yogurt.
The pancakes with the cream spread was really tasty, not too sweet~

Others

Saw the sunrise from the plane yeyyeyy!! I think it was when we were flying over Turkey! (I wasn’t in the window seat so my photos turned out awful, sorryz)
